The purpose of this project was to document, trace, and preserve the life experiences of Japanese American families who lived or worked on the Palos Verdes peninsula between 1900 and 1942 and experienced wartime incarceration, military service, college or employment, and/or in post WWII resettled in the surrounding South Bay Los Angeles area....
