Scope and Contents
this sub-series contains material related to the 40 Families project which was a project affiliated with Peninsula Center Palos Verdes Library. The purpose of this project was to document, trace, and preserve the life experiences of Japanese American families who lived or worked on the Palos Verdes peninsula between 1900 and 1942 and experienced wartime incarceration, military service, college or employment, and/or in post WWII resettled in the surrounding South Bay Los Angeles area. Included in this sub-series are interviews; clippings; worksheets; interview questions; consent forms; and other research material. For more related material see Sub-Series E.
