Native American Activism and Subject File Collection
This collection contains newspapers, magazines, newsletters, flyers, leaflets, books, and other documents related to Native American activism and history from 1939-early 1990s. Included are issues of "Treaty Council News", "Anthropological Records"; and "Wounded Knee Bulletin"; as well as documents and publications that include information on land disputes, political prisoners, occupations, politics, advocacy, protests, and other topics.

Political Newspapers and Publications Collection
This collection consists of approximately thirty alternative and underground newspaper and journal titles whose primary focus is from an ethnic, leftist, socialist, or communist perspective. This collection also consists of other publications, leaflets, flyers, clippings, and articles relating to topics such as the anti-war movement, the Black movement, the labor movement, student movements, and other topics.
Native American Publications
This collection consists of over 100 different newspapers, newsletters, magazines, and other Indigenous publications from the United States and Canada. The publications in this collection represent both national and local communities; and contain news, events, elections, education, and other noteworthy and important issues that pertain to Indigenous peoples and tribes.

Black History Pamphlets Collection
This collection contains pamphlets, ephemera, booklets, joutrnals, comic books, and other materials related to Black history in the last 200 years. Subjects include slavery, economics, Black/White relations, as well as noted Black figures, including Rev. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Anglea Davis, Huey Newton, Paul Robeson, C.L.R. James, and Amanda Smith. Publications include Black journals, zines, and comic books introducing Black superheroes.
