The newspapers all report from a leftist perspective and many of the publications espouse a Communist ideology. Topics relating to many of the major movements of the late 20th Century are covered, including the Anti-War Movement, the Black Movement, the Chicano Movement, and the Feminist Movement. As many of the publications relate to Communist ideology, there is a great focus on labor issues and the plight of the working class in the United States.
