Iraq War Collection
The Iraq War Collection (November 1990, 1991, 2001, September 2002; 2003- 2005, 2007; undated) contains flyers, pamphlets, books, stickers, buttons, and other material relating to the Gulf War (1990-1991), and Iraq War (2003-2011). A majority of the flyers are in regards to anti-war and peace movement demonstrations and events.
Robert Gillingham Working Papers
Robert C. Gillingham was a historian who focused on the South Bay, specifically the Rancho San Pedro, the Dominguez family, and Compton. This collection consists of correspondence, drafts, and manuscript copies related to his work on The Rancho San Pedro and Yesterdays of Compton.
Compton Earthquake Postcards and Photographs
This collection contains 27 postcards featuring black-and-white images taken in Compton, California in 1933. Most of the images were taken in the aftermath of an earthquake that hit Long Beach, California that year. Images featured include the Young Hotel, Stockwell Building, First National Bank, Aranbe Hotel, a drugstore, the view from Main Street; and other buildings and homes.
