This collection contains materials generated by J. Ralph McFarling, a Community Analyst for the War Relocation Authority, documenting the Amache Incarceration Camp in Granada, Colorado where Japanese Americans were imprisoned during World War II. Some of this collection has been digitized and is available online.
Albert J. McNeil Collection
Albert John Joseph McNeil is an American choral conductor, ethnomusicologist, author, and founder of the Albert McNeil Jubilee Singers. His career has been dedicated to upholding choral music traditions with the presentation of Negro spirituals and concert music by African American composers. He is Professor Emeritus of Music at the University of California, Davis, where he was director of choral activities for 22 years and headed the Music Education Program.
Corporal Roger A. McNew Letters
The Corporal Roger A. McNew Letters (August 1978; circa 1970s) contains eight letters; one unauthored essay entitled "The Sailor", a speakeasy business card, and "Marine Corps Air Station Football Team" document. All of the letters, except for one, are from Roger to his mother. In these letters he discusses his time in the United States Marine Corps while stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Papers of Theodore Meriam, member of the CSU Board of Trustees, Chairman of the State College Council of California (1951-1953) and Chairman of Chico State College Advisory board (1950-1960).
Mexican-American War Correspondence and Ephemera
This collection contains letters written during the Mexican-American War which took place from 1846-1848; as well as other ephemera such as receipts, expenses, and an invoice belonging to a ship captain who transported goods during the War.
Mexican Government Account Book
The Mexican Government Account Book Collection (August 1822-December 31, 1823) contains one Mexican government account book that includes a listing of payments for goods and services. Each page contains a stamp with the official seal of Mexico, and is embossed with an image similar to that of a Ferdin VII coin. All entries are signed either "Dominguez" or "Jose Igancio Dominguez" with some entries for payments to [Agustin de] Iturbide. Account book is in Spanish.
