The Phil Wilkes Fixico Collection (1966-2021, undated) contains documents relating to the life and career of Phil Wilkes Fixico, a Black-Seminole American activist and founder of the Semiroon Historical Society. Documents include photocopies of Fixico’s awards, certificates, degrees, and photographs, as well as articles focusing on Fixico and/or people of Black-Seminole heritage. Also included is a copy of A Man Called Horse by Glennette Tilley Turner.

This collection contains one photograph album entitled Photos, Catalina Island, Cal. The album contains fourteen black-and-white photographs and one postcard featuring images presumably taken on Santa Catalina Island of women cross-dressing and dressed in costumes and menswear; as well as portrait style images, and a picture of women sitting under a parasol. Also included is one Santa Catalina Island souvenir postcard dated 1908.

Jose Guadalupe Posada Broadsides and Booklets

This collection contains eighteen broadsides and two booklets illustrated by Jose Guadalupe Posada, as well as a flyer illustrated in a similar style to that of Posada. All of the broadsides- published by the press of Antonio Vanegas Arroyo, are satirical in nature and contain images of calaveras, or skulls.
