Bound text, content includes: newspaper clippings regarding Crone’s arrival and appointment as the General Director of Education in Lima; outcome of Peru’s School Reform; Crone’s educational conferences; extensive news and educational articles, with photographs of American Independence celebrations in Peru on July 4th 1923. Content also includes diary entries covering subjects such as: Crone’s account on Education in Peru; The American Education Mission; Peruvian women under the law; Peruvian Government; and Crone's plan to train teachers in Peru. Content also contains some correspondence, including letters from Columbia University, The U.S. War Department, the President of Peru, and Peru’s Ministry of Instruction in Lima regarding the American Educational Mission led by Mr. Crone. There is also a list of all American teachers employed by the Peruvian government, as well as a small biography.
