Bound official correspondence, reports, articles, diary entries, and informal anecdotes ranging from 1906-1913 covering athletics, education in the Philippines under American occupation, stories of students, and Indigenous peoples and customs. Content includes material such as: an essay titled ”Educational Progress in the Philippines since the American Occupation” by Crone for a book by Dean Worchester titled Philippine Past and Present; statistics and description of the “Far Eastern Olympic Games” sports and teams, with a focus on China, Japan and Philippines; pamphlet “Proceedings of the Democratic Territorial Convention”, Manila February 9, 1912 discussing elections; article published in Philippine Education describing local Indigenous or First Peoples such as Aetas, Itas, Abianes, Agatas, Itim, and Afro Filipinos. Inscription inside front cover: “Frank L. Crone. Manila. December 24, 1913.”
