This sub-series contains Torrance City Council Torrance Refinery workshop material, emails sent to Torrance City Council to support the ban of MHF, material related to the Safe and Secure Community program, and County of Los Angeles initiatives for safer practices for MHF. Also included in this sub-series are documents regarding the Valero Wilmington Refinery, and articles and clippings related to other Southern California area oil refineries, chemical sites, and the Port of Los Angeles.
