Included in this subseries are the summaries of workshops done between 2011 and 2012 leading to the workshop guide, Why Women Should Join Unions: Organizing and Leading with Eleanor Roosevelt. The workshops were based on Brigid O’Farrell’s book, She Was One of Us: Eleanor Roosevelt and the American Worker with a grant from the Berger-Marks Foundation. Brigid O’Farrell traveled to different union conferences, summer schools, and other gatherings to present and lead the workshops. Included are materials from the workshops, reports, correspondence, copies of O’Farrell presentations, pamphlets, articles, book chapters, and other documents.
