Contains materials from CSUDH as well as the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee and the Southland Corporation from 1980 to 2002. Topics include the planning and construction of the velodrome, velodrome ground-breaking and grand opening, preparations for the 1984 Olympics, staffing and other issues related to the Olympics, the post-Olympic use of the velodrome, track surface problems, as well as the velodrome's management after the Olympics. Materials are in form of inter-office memos, meeting minutes, external studies and appraisals.
