This scrapbook contains mostly black-and-white photographs featuring images of African American servicemen of the 4th Armored Division in Germany participating in various recreational activities, as well as images taken during military training.

This collection contains letters that were mostly sent by D-Day veteran, Mike J Chavez to his wife Stella Chavez during his tour in World War II. Also included in this collection are letters from Percy Chavez to Mrs. Mike Joe Chavez; a draft of a eulogy for Mike Chavez written by one of his children; a copy of a program for the "Jubilee of Liberty, Normany Beach 1944" award ceremony; one copy of "Stars and Stripes" Vol. 5, No. 195; and empty War Department envelopes.

This collection includes Japanese Jaunts newsletters published for American Servicemen in Japan. It includes information on listed tours for Americans, events in town and around Japan, and movies on base.

This collection contains 61 issues of "The Bond: The Servicemen's Newspaper", an American Servicemen's Union newspaper containing articles and letters written by servicemen. Topics relate to the antiwar movement, the Vietnam War, and American foreign policy.
