Most of the material in this collection was published by or affiliated with ONE, Inc. and includes short stories, poetry, book reviews, news articles, editorials, scholarly articles, images, artwork, and cartoons.
The Asian Pacific Studies Collection
The focus of the Asian Pacific Studies Collection is Japanese American evacuation and internment during World War II. This includes photographs, posters, newspapers, class reports, syllabi, and other materials about Japanese-American life in Los Angeles before World War II, evacuation, internment, and life following release from the camps. Materials were collected by a professor of history at CSUDH.
Transgender Resources Collection
The Transgender Resources Collection contains flyers, programs, informational resources, photographs, and a zine regarding support groups, organizations, and events by and for transgender people; as well as material related to topics such as healthcare and gender identity. The collection contains documents from the San Francisco Transgender Film Festival, Youth Gender Project, National LGBTQ Task Force, Fantasia Fair, Transexual Menace, and others.
Blues Periodicals Collection
The Blues Periodicals collection (1994-2014) comprises of five music magazines or periodicals primarily about blues as well as jazz. Also included are three additional music magazines concerning professional recording and sound production technology. The bulk of the collection consists of the Living Blues and Blues Revue magazines.

Thomas F. Barton papers
This collection includes the personal and professional papers of Thomas F. Barton, an anti-war activist and socialist who organized soldiers against the Vietnam and Iraq wars. It includes newsletters, articles, correspondence, meeting minutes and agendas that document Barton’s involvement with various anti-war and socialist organizations, and the distribution, founding, and publishing of various anti-war newsletters.
Les Claypool's Los Angeles Free Press Publication
This collection contains three complete bound volumes of Les Claypool's Free Press, quickly renamed the Los Angeles Free Press, which ran from 1955-1957. The newspaper was sponsored by the Los Angeles chapter of Americans for Democratic Action with Les E. Claypool Sr. as the founding editor. Glenn M. Anderson served as a board member during the short lifespan of the newspaper. The newspaper covers 1950s Los Angeles and California politics from a liberal perspective.
