LGBTQ Publications Collection
The LGBTQ Publications Collection (1935-2022, undated; bulk 1970-2000) contains newspapers, magazines, newsletters, reports, and other publications devoted to the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer) community.
Black History Pamphlets Collection
This collection contains pamphlets, ephemera, booklets, joutrnals, comic books, and other materials related to Black history in the last 200 years. Subjects include slavery, economics, Black/White relations, as well as noted Black figures, including Rev. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Anglea Davis, Huey Newton, Paul Robeson, C.L.R. James, and Amanda Smith. Publications include Black journals, zines, and comic books introducing Black superheroes.
Filer Compton Collection
This collection consists of approximately 25 magazines and newspaper titles, as well as newspaper clippings and ballots. The collection predominantly focuses on African American social and political news, civil rights issues, and cultural and entertainment news. A large portion of the collection consists of Jet magazines but almost equally as large is the collection of Ebony magazines. Some of the titles also included are The Crisis, Los Angeles Times, The Bulletin and more.
Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, Los Angeles Papers of Ron Wilkins
This collection includes publications, organizational documents, correspondence, pamphlets, interviews, and other material related to the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, the Los Angeles branch of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, and Jamil Abdullah al-Amin, formally known as H. Rap Brown. Also included is one folder that contains mailers, flyers, and a pamphlet regarding the East Bay Friends of SNCC; Bay Area Friends of SNCC; and National Office (SNCC).

This collection includes flyers, newspaper clippings, organizational documents, press releases, issues of "Banner," digitized photographs, and other material related to the Nikkei for Civil Rights and Redress (NCRR), formally known as the National Coalition for Redress and Reparations. It also includes material related to the Little Tokyo People's Rights Organization (LTPRO), Japanese Americans, and Japanese American redress. This collection contains some digitized material.

This collection includes flyers, pamphlets, meeting notes, press releases, correspondence, Rafu Shimpo newspaper clippings, posters, and event scripts for the Day of Remembrance events (DOR) organized by the Nikkei for Civil Rights and Redress (NCRR), formally known as the National Coalition for Redress and Reparations. It also includes materials related to Japanese Americans, Japanese Latin Americans, Little Tokyo, incarceration camps, Mexican Americans, and Muslim Americans.
