Melvin House Collection
This collection contains material belonging to Melvin House, an African American electrician and high school gymnast living in Los Angeles, California. Included in this collection are documents, photographs, ephemera, articles, booklets, pamphlets, and other material relating to House's education, career, friends and family; as well as his interests in spirituality, politics, religion, and the Nation of Islam.
Ludwig Lauerhass Mexican Broadsides and Leaflets
This collection consist of leaflets and broadsides pertaining to religious, social, and political themes from Mexico’s post-independence period. The content of the collection is made up of prints from Mexico’s iconic 19th-century printer and publisher, Luis Abadiano y Valdés. The collection presents a view of Mexican elite culture of post-independence Mexico that emphasizes the importance of religion, culture, and politics.
Les Claypool's Los Angeles Free Press Publication
This collection contains three complete bound volumes of Les Claypool's Free Press, quickly renamed the Los Angeles Free Press, which ran from 1955-1957. The newspaper was sponsored by the Los Angeles chapter of Americans for Democratic Action with Les E. Claypool Sr. as the founding editor. Glenn M. Anderson served as a board member during the short lifespan of the newspaper. The newspaper covers 1950s Los Angeles and California politics from a liberal perspective.

Mexican Government Account Book
The Mexican Government Account Book Collection (August 1822-December 31, 1823) contains one Mexican government account book that includes a listing of payments for goods and services. Each page contains a stamp with the official seal of Mexico, and is embossed with an image similar to that of a Ferdin VII coin. All entries are signed either "Dominguez" or "Jose Igancio Dominguez" with some entries for payments to [Agustin de] Iturbide. Account book is in Spanish.
George Nakano Family Papers
This collection contains books, booklets, proposals, printed newspaper articles, ephemera, and digitzed scrapbooks related to George Nakano, former Assemblymember and Torrance City Council member. Subjects include the Jerome and Tule Lake incarceration camps, the Nakano family, and George Nakano's political career. This collection contains digitized materials.
