Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection is comprised of a variety of pieces of writing, some of which were written specifically by Carolee Gardner Trefts, including her correspondence, notes and research compiled from newspapers, city organization meetings and agenda minutes. There is a typed manuscript from the 1950s and 1960s written by the head of the teachers'union, which provides historical background into the issues of the school district.
