Biographical / Historical
Compton High School started as a one room school house and had it's first graduating class in 1898. As the student population increased more buildings were added and later a community college in 1927. In 1953, the college and the high school seperated due to the student population as well as the Compton population growing. In 1996, the high school celebrated its 100th anniversary.
