M.J.B. Construction Archive
Scope and Contents
The M.J.B. Construction Archive (1935-1959, undated) contains newspaper clippings, construction advertisements, postcards, and photographs documenting the work of M.J.B. Construction, a general contracting company based in Stockton, California. Newspaper clippings relate to major building projects in the Stockton, California area in which M.J.B. Construction was involved between the 1940s and 1950s. Undated advertisements and postcards show construction equipment and heavy machinery, and photographs document various building projects, including the Atascadero Freeway, Camp Roberts, Burns Dam, Highway 99, Manteca Freeway, and other unnamed projects, presumably in the Stockton area.
