Brown and Minister Pauline Brown in June of 2013, the Compton 125 Project sought to commemorate the legacy of Compton through community-centered initiatives that would provide spaces for unifying interactions and educate the people of Compton. As such, by documenting the Compton 125 Project and its celebrations, the Compton 125 Historical Society began the process of preserving the history of Compton, CA.
