Scrapbook contains material mostly related to Blanton's retirement from Compton Unified School District circa January 1984. Included are photographs, congratulatory notes, and poems. Also included in this scrapbook are memorial tribute programs for Ms. Robbi Lee Bowen, Miss Zuleka Bowen, and Mr. John Henry Boyd; obituary for Wilma B. Adams; a photocopy of a telegram sent to Ludie Bowens from Leaka Bowen regarding their mother's passing; and genealogy documents for the decendants of Sally Parks.
