Papers are arranged in chronological order unless otherwise indicated. File folders are mostly in their original order (alphabetically by folder title). Folders labeled "Del Amo..." contains the core information on the operations of the Foundation and have been place in Box 1. Original folder titles have been preserved wherever possible. These files have been kept in their original alphabetic order and not removed to other series in an effort to preserve the original order. For more financial documents, see the series "Financial Documents." More detailed grantee information is available in the series "Grantee Files, Theses and Reports." This series consists mainly of the Declaration of Trusts, general and grant correspondence relating to the establishment of the Foundation and the selection of grant candidates. These files also contain board resolutions, non-grant inquiries for information, tax records, and folders on the construction of the Colegio Mayor Jaime del Amo (Madrid, Spain) and the restoration of the Dominguez Homestead
