Series IX: Photographs, 1986-2007

This series primarily consists of 4”x 6” color prints depicting women workers of diverse backgrounds at their job sites, during training and educational workshops as well as participating in social and civic events. Additional photographs depict the film making processes for Dr. Price’s documentaries. Although most of the photographs in this collection were taken by Dr. Price, some photographic contributions were also made by the US Dept. of Transportation. This series is divided into three subseries according to their subject matter: Series IX.a Tradeswomen at Work, 1986-2000, Series IX.b Tradeswomen Training Workshops and Civic Events, 1980s-2007, and Series IX.c Film Making Processes, 1990s-2006; Series IX.d Women's Conferences, 1995
