Series II: Aquarian Bookshop and Spiritual Center, 1948-2002; undated

This series contains material related to the Aquarian Bookshop and Spiritual Center and is divided into seven sub-series. Subseries A: Administrative contains Aquarian bookshop catalogs; invoices; order forms; letters regarding book orders, sales, and inquires; bookmarks; mailers; gift certificates; bylaws; material related to a fire and rebuilding efforts; lease agreements; and other administrative and organizational material. Subseries B: Press contains articles about the Ligons and the Aquarian Book Shop. Subseries C: Events contains flyers, pamphlets, programs, and other material regarding events held in the book store and spiritual center, as well as Aquarian Spiritual Center regional and national conferences, and a few flyers for events not held at the bookshop or spiritual center but the Ligons were directly involved. Sub-Series D: Classes and Lessons contains materials include charts, lessons, notes, and pamphlets related to both independent lectures and classes; and also includes introductory pamphlets, and handouts presumably related to Gnostic Studies lessons.Subseries E: URAEUS and Newsletters contains issues of Aquarian Center newsletters and URAEUS as well as related material such as flyers and pamphlets.Subseries F:Alfred and Bernice Ligon Aquarian Collection (ABLAC) Inventories and Catalog Records contains inventories of the audio/visual content from the Aquarian Spiritual Center including reel to reel tapes and cassette tapes; book listings; and Library of Congress record printouts.Sub-Series G:Publishers and Book Sellers Marketing Material contains flyers, booklets, catalogs, order forms and other promotiona material for books and catalogs.
