Series IV: Latin America, 1980-2014; undated

This series contains newsletters, pamphlets, reports, articles, publications and other documents generated by or about Latin American organizations and advocacy groups; and Latin American countries other than El Salvador. For material related to El Salvador see Series III. This series is divided into three sub-series. Sub-Series A: Organizations and Publications contains newsletters, pamphlets, reports, and other publications generated by Latin American organizations such as: Central American Research Institute; “Central America Report”; Committee Against U.S. Intervention in Central America; CRECE; Environmental Project on Central America; and others. This sub-series also contains United States government publications such as “Latin America Update”. This sub-series is organized alphabetically by publisher or organization when applicable; or by publication title. Sub-Series B: A-Z Subject File (topical) contains mostly articles organized alphabetically by topic including subjects such as Central American solidarity, working conditions, demonstrations, and peace proposals; Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA); the Kissinger Commission; and U.S. military. Sub-Series C: A-Z Subject File (country) contains reports, articles, newsletters, pamphlets, and other documents and is organized alphabetically by country. A majority of the material in this sub-series relates to Honduras, Guatemala, and Nicaragua.
