From the Collection:

The Kaye Briegel Research Collection (1900-1984; undated bulk: 1960-1980) contains eight boxes of reports, papers, case studies, monographs, articles, hearings, and court cases related to Chicano communities, movements, activism, culture, and history from publishers such as: Chicano Studies Research Center at UCLA, Marfel Association, Institute for the Study of Social Change, UC Berkeley, Mexican-American Study Project (UCLA), and R and E Research Associates. Also included in this collection are materials related to organizations such as American G.I. Forum of the United States, Association of Mexican American Educators Inc., Council of Mexican American Affairs, and United Farm Workers; bibliographies, directories, and other reference material; conference proceedings and programs; theses; study and teacher’s guides; and ephemera such as flyers, posters, and mailers related to protests, marches, and events.
