This scrapbook contains clippings mostly from the Los Angeles Times and Los Angeles Sentinel regarding current events of that time in relation to sports, arts, society, local events, television, music, animals, education, weather, transportation, and other subjects. Also included in this scrapbook are a note from Bass’ daughter to Bass, advertisements, and loose pages found in the scrapbook that contain an issue of The Final Call Vol. 10, No. 10, National Enquirer (May 4, 1982), and a cover of Ebony magazine featuring images from “The 100 Most Influential Blacks” cover story (May 1976).
