This series contains newspaper issues; newsletters; press releases; flyers; and other material that was published in the United States by members of the Armed Forces; student activist groups; and anti-war and anti-military support groups. A majority of the publications are part of the G.I. underground press movement that were either created on military bases; or by active duty, veterans, discharged G.I.s, deserters, and draft resisters who wanted to create anti-war material for their peers.
