Types of materials include field manuals; profiles of types of gangs; publications intended for a police audience; illustrations of gang-affiliation tattoos; documents from a probation officer conference; a New York Times article relating to the Los Angeles police department; and flyers and handouts on "gang awareness" intended for public consumption.
