 File — Box: 2, Folder: 6

Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This series is different from the rest as it contains publications and materials that does not specifically reference the Black Panthers. While the Black Panthers are rarely mentioned in these materials, it is clear that these other organizations are influenced by the rhetoric and ideology of the Black Panthers and are using it to push forward the agenda of their own interest groups. Represented groups are the Chicano Revolution, international resistance, anti-fascist groups, Black Power movement groups, and the Patriot Group. The Patriot Group in particular are using the ideas and tactics of the Black Panthers as inspiration for their own fight for the rights of “oppressed poor white” people.
