Biographical / Historical
"Anna Lucasta" is a 1944 play written by Philip Yordan. The play was originally written about a Polish American family, but was later adapted for an all African American cast after its rights were obtained by American Negro Theatre director Abraham Hill. British director Harry Wagstaff Gribble would later assist with the adaptation of the script as well.
