Sub-Series D: ACRL and CLA Records, 1969-1996
Scope and Contents
This sub-series contains memorandums, meeting minutes, questionnaires, chapter relations activities, chapters manuals, and other documents regarding CARL activities during the time prior to and around the time of the merger with ACRL (Association of College and Research Libraries), as well as the time during CARL’s association with CLA (California Library Association) prior to separation. Included in this sub-series is a short summary of CARL’s merger with the ACRL chapters in 1979 and the succession from CLA 1991.
