Scope and Contents
This series contains material generated from the National Executive Board (NEB) of the National Writers Union, which consists of the National Officers and the Chairs of each Chapter. Material includes correspondence; memorandums; membership, treasurer’s, internal organizing, eastern region, President’s, and other reports; as well as proposals, documents related to local offices, grievances, recruitment, membership counts, documents regarding Tasini v. The New York Times et al., meeting minutes, summaries of NEB decisions, and others. The majority of the correspondence is from Jonathan Tasini; and to/from Bruce Hartford.
