Scope and Content
This collection includes flyers, programs, news releases, news articles of the activities of the Polynesian Club, and correspondence and manuscripts of the advisor, Arnold Haskin, the assistant to the Dean of Humanities and Fine Arts. In addition, there is background information of the individuals and organizations involved in the events, application forms, contacts and meeting memos.

History
The Polynesian Club was established in 1980 by students and faculty members. The club consisted of Samoans, Fijians, Hawaiians and others who are intereted in the culture of Pacific Islanders. The club held annual Samoan Flag Day observations on campus, and sponsored CSUDH Pacific Islander Awareness Week in 1991. The group contributed to the campus diversity through various activities.

Abstract
This collection includes the documents of activities conducted by the Polynesian Club. It includes flyers, programs, news releases, news articles of the activities, correspondence and manuscripts of the advisor, Arnold Haskin. Haskin was the assistant to the Dean of Humanities and Fine Arts. In addition, collection includes background information of the individuals and organizations involved in the events, application forms, contacts and minutes.
