Abstract

This collection contains books, pamphlets, magazine issues, flyers, and other material related to the opposition of economic programs and policies introduced by President Franklin D. Roosevelt during the Great Depression. Called "The New Deal", the purpose of these programs was to provide relief for the unemployed and poor; recovery of the economy; and reform of the financial system in areas such as banking reform laws, emergency relief, work relief, union protection, and agriculture.

Scope and Contents The World War II War Crimes and Battles Collection (1939-June 30, 1952; undated) contains one box, 1.5 linear ft., and consists of 260 clippings of newspapers in two scrapbooks.
